Lomi Lomi Nui
Lomi Lomi Nui is called by many “the most beautiful massage on Earth”. It is a nourishing touch that helps to release physical pain, balances emotions, and brings peace. This ancient healing art has been passed on through generations in Hawaii and eventually made its way to other parts of the world.
(Abraham) Aua’ia Maka’i’ole Kawai’i, the father and the founder of this massage modality, defined this bodywork as a ‘physiologically based psycho-spiritual transformation’
This unique holistic bodywork restores the balance within the body and between body, mind, emotions, and spirit. It also supports well-being. When our body, mind, and heart are in balance, life-giving energy flows freely. We are able to solve our problems with ease. In conclusion, serenity, calmness, and natural balance come back to us. We become more optimistic, joyful, and ready to act. We naturally follow our passions and inner callings and as a result, we can easily experience happiness and abundance in our life.
More about this workshop
During this 5-day individual, one-on-one workshop, you will learn the basics of Hawaiian (Lomi Lomi Nui) massage and will be able to start giving massages right away! This workshop intentionally was designed for 1 max 2 participants It gives you comfort and an individual approach. To ensure the best environment and quality of learning. And for me, as the teacher allow me to accompany you fully in your process. This is the way I like working the most.
In order to take part in this workshop, you do not need to be, or even want to be a professional massage therapist. The course we offer is for people who are interested in starting or deepening their massage practice and bringing Lomi Lomi to their clients and community. It is also for those who do not wish to become a massage therapist but want to connect to their healing abilities and share this massage with their loved ones, family, and friends.
This workshop is facilitated by a certified teacher and is equivalent to Kino Mana Level 1 according to Kino Mana Training System, Aloha International, Hawaii.

She has been practicing this healing art since 2015 and offers sessions to people throughout Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. She also offers based on Huna, empowering life coaching sessions and mentoring programs.

Accommodation & meals
This workshop is hosted at Keolahou - the Hawaiian massage studio located in the northeastern suburb of Christchurch, South Island, New Zealand. The 5-day workshop does not include accommodation and meals, however, you will have access to a kitchen, and water and herbal tea are provided.
We can also help you to find accommodation in the neighborhood.

Keolahou - the Hawaiian massage studio is situated just a 5-minute walk from wild and beautiful Waimairi Beach and a 10-minute walk from Bottle Lake Forest and just a 20-minute drive from the center of Christchurch or Christchurch Airport. All above makes this location easily accessible, yet away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Cost of the Workshop

The Lomi Lomi 40-hour individual workshop is NZD 2100.
